Premier University Library organizes a library orientation program for students and faculty members and researchers throughout the year. The objectives of the orientation program are to familiarize library users with the library facilities, resources, and services and to acquaint them with basic database searching techniques. In the orientation program, the library authority makes a slide presentation to give clear ideas regarding how to locate the resources and services of the library, how to use the Online Public Access Catalog, understanding the resources located in the library, and the basics of database searching strategy. It also encourages and promotes the use of e-resources, including e-journals, e-books, institutional repositories, digital libraries, etc. which enhance their academic experience and lifelong learning.
